Potluck Dinners at the Parish House: 5:30-7:00 Harcourt Parishioners bring the food, Kenyon Students bring their appetites. Everyone enjoys fellowship and a speaker. Spring 2012 dates include:
Wednesday, March 21st: Rebecca Ogus will be our featured guest. She will discuss her recent trip as a young adult delegate to the United Nations Status on Women.
Wednesday, March 28th: Brother John, a Taizé monk, will talk more about life in the monastery in Taizé, France.
Wednesday April 18th: Marco Saavadra will be speaking about his work on behalf of undocumented workers at the Cincinnati Faith and Justice Network.
Host Families: Sign up for our Host Family Program and you'll be matched with parishioners who can be your home-away-from home. Hosts and Students together create an individual relationship. Some hosts have hosted students for monthly or weekly dinners in their homes. Some students and hosts get together for coffee or lunch a few times a semester. Some students might do their laundry at their host's home or spend the night when they need to get away from the dorms. Hosts may be able to give students a ride into Mount Vernon or to the Airport on occasion. Think of Hosts as extended family, right here in the village.
